The Firestone family of employees employees started as small group of 12 workera Through the years It has steadily grown until it is now a world - wide . organisa & & tion of 70,000 men and women. In the Akron plants, one out of every three employeea haa been with Firestone for more than 20 yeara and nine out of every ten employeea have worked worked with the Company more than five yeara. In recognition of the loyalty of its employees, the Company founded a Twenty Year Club many year ago. Today thia club haa a membership of more than 4,400 throughout the world. More than 850 employees have worked with Firestone more than 30 years. Pins are presented to those who have completed 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years and diamond-set diamond-set diamond-set pins are given for 35 years with the Company. In addition, the Company present watches and cash awards to employees who have completed 20 years of service. Additional cash awards are given to employees when they celebrate 25, 30, 35 and 40-year 40-year 40-year annlversariea with Firestone. Firestone.
