Stella Carolyn Stark Carolyn Stark passed away peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2003, at the California home ofher daughter, and surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born Feb. 14, 1924, Mrs.Stark was a longtime resident ofGreen Township. Carolyn most recently lived in Valparaiso, Ind. Born in Bentleyville, Pa., Carolyn movedto Akron, Ohio, as a young girl. After graduating from GarfieldHigh School and Hammel Business College, College, she worked for Goodyear Aircraft, Aircraft, where she met and later married Joe Stark. They raised their family in Green Township andwere very active in local school community community activities. Joe and Carolyn moved to Valparaiso after Joere- tired from Goodyear Tire &Rubber Co. During their retirement,Carolyn and Joe traveled extensively worldwide worldwide with the Elderhostel program. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, andis survived by her children, Russell Stark of Valparaiso, Martha Fellabaum Fellabaum of Houston, Teddi Garvin of Escondido, Calif.; sister, Eleanor Fisher of Bradenton, Fla.; brother, Jerry Ramian of Akron, Ohio; and grandchildren, Emily and Olivia Stark, Zachary and Christopher Fellabaum, Fellabaum, and Matthew and Alex Garvin. A memorial service is planned for April 16 in Valparaiso. The family family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to local hospice organizations.
