Mrs. At By PAT RAVENSCRAFT Beacon Journal Club Writer MANY CLUB women will take a step back next week to admire the results of their own hard work and that of their colleagues. Mrs. Thomas Shaw, Volunteer Worker of the Year, will be in the spotlight Tuesday when Woman's Auxiliary to Goodwill Industries has its annual Helms Fund tea at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Shaw, who is in two years as auxiliary president, accumulated 308 volunteer hours in 1969. The public tea will benefit the Helms Scholarship Fund to train Goodwill staff members and executive directors. Goodwill Industries is accepting reservations. AKRON GARDEN Club members will take time to admire their landscaping handiwork Monday when they meet for lunch at the Old Stone School.

In 1968 the club began the project of landscaping the historical site for the Board of Education. Goal was to make a school yard typical of this area in 1840, using mostly native materials. The results?
