Ethel was a life resident of Akron. She worked as a nurse at St. Thomas Hospital for many years, and was a member of St. Sebastian Church. She is survived by sister, Edna P.

Degan; nephew, Tea Degan of Canton; and niece, Mrs. Marie Gebhart of Akron. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Sebastian Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Say it with a HOLIDAY to. CANTON John J. Frenz, 62, of 1532 Dunkeith Dr. N.W., Canton, passed away Monday evening in Mas-sillon Community Hospital after an extended illness. A life resident of Canton, he graduated from McKinley High School in 1939.

Following his graduation he attended Kent State. A veteran of World War II, he served overseas with the army. He retired in 1978 from Ohio Bell Telephone Company after 25 years of service. He was a member of Lowell United Church of Christ, a member and past master in Trinity Lodge No. 710 member ana past potentate in Al Koran Shrine, and past patron in Delta Chapter No.

539 Order of Eastern Star. He held membership in Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, York Rite and Subordinate lodges, Al Koran Drum and Bugle Corps, Pioneer Club of Ohio Bell, Jackson Chapter of the A.A.R.P., and Stark County Power Squadron. He had been very active in community affairs. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris Frenz of the home; three sons, Dr.

John A. Frenz of Massillon, Terren L. Frenz of Alliance, Dan R. Frenz of North Canton; mother, Mrs. Mary Frenz; and sister, Miss Mary Lou Frenz, both of Westchester, brother, Dan C.

Frenz of Ft. Myers, and nine grandchildren. Services will be conducted Thursday, 1 p.m., in the Reed Funeral Home, Rev. David Patton and Rev. Lewis Crawford officiating.

He was supervisor in the Stock Room at Akron City Hospital with 23 years service, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Thayer Street Church of Christ.

MUNROE FALLS Frank R. Dulzer 66, of 220 Highland died Monday at Medina Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Cleveland, he had lived in Munroe Falls. He was a chief mechanic at Midway Lanes in Akron, and a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Stow. He was also a disabled American veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Frances mother, Sophia Dulzer of Warrens-ville Heights; four daughters, Arlene Rousch of Mentor, Elaine Wise of Stow, Janet Snowberger of Manhattan Beach, and Deborah Barry of Cuyahoga Falls; three sons, Frank Jr. of Hope Mills, N.C., Robert of Hudson, and John of Wickliffe; 11 grandchildren; four brothers, Albert of East Cleveland, William of Edmond, The Rev. Kenan Dulzer of the OFM of Parma, James of Lyndhurst; and two sisters, Sr. Mary Kenan of OSU, Pepper Pike, and Marie Dulzer of Middletown, N.Y.
