I have been working for the past 7 years to trace a complete family history for the Smoyer, Schmoyer, Schmeyer, Smyer, etc. surname starting from the original town in Germany that is the namesake of the Schmeyer family all the way to the present-day relatives living in the United States. I have been working diligently to compile as much information about the family as I can in a book that I have been writing and adding to daily. I welcome contact from anyone with information about the family looking to contribute stories, information, pictures, etc. to the my research as well as helping others out with whatever information I can.
